We exclusively offer private full and half day tours.  Here's a few of the options of available experiences:

BEFORE YOU COME

Here is some helpful information and tips to prepare you for your adventure in the desert. 

WEATHER

THINGS TO BRING

  • Water bottle (at least one)

  • Wide brimmed hat

  • Sun glasses

  • Sun screen

  • Lightweight cotton shirt (long sleeves will protect you from the sun)

  • Warm layers (the desert is about extremes; at night and in the winter the desert gets cold)

  • Rain coat (if it rains, it pours)

  • Salty snacks with good protein and quick energy

  • Comfortable hiking shoes

  • Cameras

CURRENT RATES

Azurite Mine tour (half-day): $200/person (2 person minimum)

Half-day tours and hikes: $410/2 people, $135 each additional

Full-day tours and hikes: $650/2 people $210 each additional

Entrance fees to National Parks are NOT included in our rates.

Sales tax is additional (6.2%).

Rates may change due to gas prices, insurance costs, or government induced increases.

Deep Desert Expeditions Terms and Conditions

Payment and Cancellation Policy for Full and Half Day Trips:

Unless other arrangements have been made with DDE, credit cards will be charged in full 24 hours prior to a scheduled trip. We are happy to accept other methods of payment such as cash or check with prior notification through our office, via telephone or email. Cancellations made within one week of a scheduled trip will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations made after the 24 hr window, or no-show guests, will be charged in full, unless the cancellation is made by DDE due to weather, unsafe conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances, in which case DDE will provide a full refund.

All DDE Tours must meet the minimum number of guests for any given tour or the tour will be cancelled with full refund. DDE is happy to run any tour for under the minimum number of guests if payment equivalent to the minimum number of guests is received.
